I could have never been more proud of David that day! I have loved every moment he has been my little brother and he never seases to amaze me! He has made great decisions in his life, but none as great as the eternal companion he has chosen!!! We are so grateful to have Lorry (Bare) join our family! What a sweet, fun, and loving spirit she has! When you see the two of them together, it is easy to see they are meant for eachother through their effortless smiles, their amazingly similar senses of humor, and their caring gestures twards eachother. Here are some pictures from their special day!

A New Mail Box

For those of you that don't know, we have about 40 trees on our lot and about 8 of them are large and at least 25 years old. Needless to say, we constantly have leaves to sweep or a branch to trim. Last weekend Peter got out the chain saw and cut down a limb that was hanging too far into the street. It came down a little too close to the mail box and broke it! The good news is that is was really ugly and I would have never replaced it otherwise. Peter built me a new mail box and I got to plant flowers! We make such a great team...Thanks honey!

By the time I finished planting the flowers all our neighbors had gone in for the evening so we had to take a picture all by ourselves.

When we moved into our home, the yard was a barron waistland of dirt and weeds, so now two years after moving in, we finally got around to putting some grass in the back yard. Well, at least in the dog run.

Gilli is getting so big! We bought Gilli her first car! It took her a while to get the hang of it, but her favorite part is the music it makes when you push the buttons! She loves music, no surprise there, and she loves to dance!

Valentine's Day 2008

He was so Surprised!

I surprised Peter on Valentine's Day! I showed up to his work to pick him up early for an evening of fun! We went to Landry's Seafood Restaurant, then bought some cowboy hats at Wild Bill's Western Wear, and then finished off our evening at the Myerson for a special Valentine's Day concert! I couldn't believe I actually pulled of a surprise with out Peter finding out!!!

Feliz Navidad - A Fiesta Christmas!

Christmas 2007! This was the first time the three of us had been together since "Little" Cathy's Wedding. We decided to make it a Fiesta! We made fajitas and quesadillas, yum! It was so much fun! These girls are two of the greatest people I have ever met! It is amazing how no matter how long it has been between visits or phone calls, we always pick up right where we left off and it feels like we have not missed a day! I love you Cathy and Cathie! I can't wait to see you again!!!
