Happy 24th Birthday Peter!

Peter had a whole day full of surprises! When he got up that morning the dining room was decorated especially for him! We had a BIG breakfast, followed by a "surprise" visit from Peter's family, and then dinner for two!

Peter's day!Mural of pictures from Peter's childhood. Isn't he so cute!

Our kids will be so adorable! =) Peter's Bday center piece! Representing his MANY accomplishments over the past year! I accidentally grabbed the wrong set of balloons, but by the time I got around to decorating his room (2am) I couldn't exchange them so "Happy Retirement" balloons were made to say Happy Birthday!
Our awesome friends, The Woolseys, took Peter and I out to his favorite restaurant On The Border for his birthday. I hope they will forgive us, but the only pictures we got were the ones Emma (their four year old) took of us! Marc is so excited to be out with his best bud Peter!
Amy and Savannah! So cute!Peter and Logan
Emma took this picture too.
She loves her dad!

Peter's "surprise" pool party. I'll tell you why surprise is in quotations...A few weeks before Peter's big day I sent out invitations to his family to come over for a family surprise party for Peter complete with a secret plan to get Peter out of the house so that his family could sneak in and get the party started. Well, that morning after breakfast Peter decides to call all the family to see if they want to come over and swim and bbq and well, as you can see...he wanted to do exactly what I had already planned for him! So, Peter single handedly manages to ruin his own "surprise" party! I should have figured we have been married so long that not only have we started to act like eachother, but we also think the same too! Peter got a big kick out of it when we told him what he had done!

My most favorite niece ever! I love being an Aunt!
Being Us!

We made up this see saw game, I think I won?!?!

Out to Fort Worth for Peter's special dinner

We added our mark to the beautifully decorated walls! This place is so fun and relaxed and romantic all at the same time! I recommend the stuffed mushrooms, yum!

What a great day! Happy Birthday to the greatest husband anyone could ask for from your completely spoiled wife!

On another side note, Peter had just bought me some new jeans from one of my favorite stores the other day, so I wanted to wear them to dinner that night. Peter had cleaned them and put them in my closet (yes, because he spoils me so! I do my own laundry too!) so when I went to go try them on they were really, really tight. I wore them anyway though and when we got home that night I realized the new jeans I got were still folded in my closet! Turns out the ones I put on were some I hadn't worn since Middle School!!! I can be such a smarty pants sometimes =) Thankful that I had not gained 10 pounds in one week we got a good laugh out of it!

Rosie and Jenny Together Again!!!

Seems like just yesterday we were running around a backyard, sleeping bag on head...singing at girls camp, and going to prom! Jenny and I met at the age of 11. The last time we saw eachother was at Jenny's briday shower. Now a husband in Medical School and two georgous girls later...we were able to see eachother again and catch up. It wasn't until 3a.m. the morning Jenny was going to drive me to the airport that we realized we had not taken any pictures of our visit. So here it is...3 a.m.

Our New Piano!

We are the proud owners of a Piano! YAY! I have been wanting a piano for a long time. We bought a 100 year old piano off Craigslist! I have been wanting one to play on and since we cannot afford a brand new one we found one for a good price that looks nice and plays well. Since this piano is so old, it weighs a ton! Peter, his dad, his brother, and Marc moved it with Peter's truck and since I forgot to pack the dolly, which I felt really bad about, they had to carry it the whole way! It was quite an ordeal. By the time they had it all tied down in the bed it looked like they had just strapped down King Kong! Thanks Guys!
